We work in partnership with investors seeking high returns from buying land ahead of planning consents and selling land with consent to responsible house-builders committed to delivering homes and environments people will enjoy for generations.
Drysdale is an equity partner in joint ventures with investors.
We focus on Boroughs and Districts where there is a shortage of housing and where the local authority is finding allocating land for new housing a challenge.
The Vision
Our vision is to help local authorities by delivering significant solutions to their housing challenge.
If an authority is required to deliver 9,000 homes, a contribution of 50 or 100 houses is unimportant. It doesn’t solve the problem.
We focus on delivering 300-6,000 homes in each of the locations in which we work.
It isn’t just about houses.
We focus on delivering sustainable communities where most amenities and services are accessible by walking or cycling.
We plan infrastructure on a scale that matches the numbers of houses and do not require the Council to pay for any of the infrastructure whether it be roads, schools, sports and leisure amenities.

A key part of our mission is to assist Councils to address their housing challenges in a sensitive way. Planning is a very prickly subject for most local authorities and we are careful to minimise friction.
We always follow local planning policies and seek to deliver a balanced mix of homes including Affordable Homes, Assisted Living accommodation as well as mainstream market housing.
